my fasting blood sugar test reads 140mg/dl, what does this indicate? this is the first time i a doing this test. i dont have any symptoms of diabetes. i am 34 years old.
i have read about this and have ideas that 140mg/dl indicates diabetes condition. how can one control this

Dear sir
According to latest American diabetes association guidelines the normal cut off values for fasting blood sugars are below 126 mg.
So accordingly your values are little high compared to this limits
Secondly it is always ideal to measure located hemoglobin levels once.
Ideally it is indicated to start with metformin
