hello doctor, i and my gf both are 22 year old and were virgins when i had unprotected sex with her on 7th , she took ipill jst an hour later .she was supposed to get her periods around 8th but its been 3 days and she still did not get her period . we are both worried , do we need to do a pregnency test .

Your girlfriend has taken I-pill within one hour of the unprotected sex. So this sex is now protected.
I-pill is an emergency contraception which gives protection against the pregnancy if consumed within 72 hours of the unprotected sex. It has more than 90% success rate.
After this pill, some bleeding may occur within few days. The periods are known to get delayed by few days due to these pills.
I feel, you can safely wait for few days expectantly to have the menses. If she does not get menses even after a week of missed period, then she may get pregnancy test done on the overnight first morning urine sample. If she is not pregnant, she may take Tab. Deviry for 5 days and then within 4-7 days she will get withdrawal bleeding.
If she is pregnant, she may opt for Medical Termination of pregnancy with an advice from Gynaecologist.
