Is My Placenta Low Lying 0.5 Cms From Internal Os Normal?
Hi i have my scan done today.I am 15 wk 6 days from last LMP. Report shows i have placenta anterior ,grade I maturity, placenta low lying 0.5 cms from internal os.Is it normal?i need to attend my brother marriage, can i travel overnight by train or 1hr flight?

Hello, Welcome to HCM I understand your concern.Your ultrasound reports suggest that you have a low lying placenta.No need to worry.Its still too early. This is reported in around 5% of pregnancies. You can continue your daily activities as per normal. There is a very high chance that a low lying placenta will be higher at a later scan. You can continue your daily activities as per normal.Better to avoid sex and avoid lifting heavy weights. Taking good rest is very important. So,better to avoid journey as such now.
