Is Numb And Tender Left Rib Area, Pressing Feeling On Ribs While Eating Normal After Having Costachondritis?

I was diagnosed with costachondritis. But sometimes there is a bit of numbness and tenderness on my left side where the ribs are, in the skin part over my stomach. And when I eat, it feels like my stomach is pressing on my ribs and its so uncomfortable, like I over ate but didn t. Is this normal for having costachondritis?
