Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Ondem syrup can control vomiting but not fever. See your doctor about the dosage as it depends on the weight of your child. Ondem can be given 30 minutes before feeding to reduce excess spit-up. To reduce the fever paracetamol needs to be given. If it does not work and the temperature stays up past 99 then go to the hospital.
Taxim-O is a brand of cefixime, an antibiotic which would only be effective in managing any secondary bacterial infection that may occur alongside the viral infections. But irrespective of the use of antibiotics, viral infections take 5 to 7 days to recover.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
