Is Open Hysterectomy Better Option While Having Dysplasia?
I had carcinoma in situ in 1998, removed with a conization. He took a lot. I am now diagnosed with a high grade dysplasia and have been recommended a hysterectomy. Doc says I am not a candidate for vaginal hysterectomy due to lack of cervical tissue. I have concerns about laparoscopic hysterectomy with a dysplasia. Am I a candidate for laparoscopy, or is open hysterectomy a better option?
