Hello!
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.
Oxycodone is an opioid pain medication used to treat moderate to
severe pain. You should never take this medicine in larger amounts, or for longer than prescribed by your doctor and should not drink alcohol. Dangerous side effects or death can occur when alcohol is combined with oxycodone. This drug must be avoided in patients with acute respiratory
depression,in conditions with intra-cranial pressure and in
head injury.
Multiple
sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable disease of the nervous system that disrupts communication between the brain and other parts of the body. The drugs that are used to treat MS are
disease modifying drugs (DMDs) and steroids (are thought to be less helpful for Primary progressive multiple sclerosis). The purpose of these drugs is to reduce the frequency and severity of attacks and the development of new brain lesions.
If you are using steroids i suggest you not to use oxycodone because using steroids and opioids together can exacerbate the effects of each drug and lead to considerable physical complications, such as:
-Increased heart rate
-Further chronic pain
-Nausea,
vomiting, diarrhea
-Mood swings and chronic depression
-Erratic and violent behavior
-Headache
-Stroke
Otherwise you can take the medicines your physician has prescribed you.
Hope this information is helpful
Best Regards!
