Is Pain Around Spine Of A Child After Fall And Hit On Raised Concrete Structure Serious?

Hi this evening my son fell off from a play structure about 2 feet high and hit the raised concrete base. He hit his back, and cried loudly for 5 minutes. He then walked normally, but still complained about pain around the spine. Should I observe him tonight and send him to his Pediatrician tomorrow or shall I send him to emergency now? Thanks!

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, looking to the history given, I must say that this is the rule that every head injury patient should be observed for 48 hours, because any thing could happen during this time period, even if the patient does not have clinical sign and symptoms at the time of injury, so it is better to have opinion or keep the child under observation, hope this information helps you, have a nice day.
