Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a sharp burning pain in my left groin area after I ve been standing for about 10 to 15 minutes. The pain gradually reduces when I sit for awhile. This started about 5, maybe 6 days ago. For a few days previous I felt a popping sensation when I moved between standing, bending and stooping. I m house bound and can t really leave without a lot of anxiety which makes everything hurt more. Could it be something to seriously worry about? Anything you can tell me would be appreciated.

Is Pain In The Groin Area A Matter Of Concern?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. According to the history you should do an ultrasound of that area to be sure and to see exactly what is that. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
