Is Pain In The Left Armpit And Breast A Matter Of Concern?

Hi i have been having pain in my left. Breast and armpit i have had mamogram and ulrasound and cat scan the pain is really hurting more and more can t sleep on my left side so not sleeping very well get all the results on wed but wondering if this could be something to worry about

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The pain you feel on your left breast and armpit is due to possible left shoulder joint issues (musculoskeletal). However other more serious issues like thrombosis of the veins there, and other cardiovascular problems should be ruled out as long as there is no cancer clue. For the moment, I can only suggest to take Ibuprofen or Paracetamol until results are in. Avoid sleeping on left side.
