Is Pain In The Testicle, Leg, Pelvis And Abdominal Areas After Treating Testicular Cancer Half A Decade Ago A Serious Concern?

Hi, I had testicular cancer 6-7 years ago, but recently I have been having aches and pain in my remaining testicle/leg and pelvis/abdomen area. I had a similar incident last year but my doctor informed me there was nothing to worry about and blood tests were taken where the results were negative. Should I be worried that these aches are something serious? I started feeling them after a leg workout, not sure if that would connect or be the cause.

Hello,

I don’t think this is related to your past history of disease. It might be an intestinal situation or a muscle problem related with it. The fact that you have done the control the first time and everything was week excludes as well the relationship with the previous cancer. No worries.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
