Is Pelvic Pain With Yellow Discharge Sign For Child Birth?
As of Sunday I was 1cm thick and high, I've been experiencing extreme pelvic pain that comes and goes, almost like getting kicked in the crotch. I just noticed a slight yellow tint to my normally clear discharge. Should I head into the labor ward? Or wait for ob appointment in the morning?
Hi, Pelvic pain in the last trimester is usually due to joint laxity which is a preparation for the process of labor. If the pain occurs in the lower abdomen and back and also along the thighs, this means the uterus is going into labor along with dilatation and effacement of the cervix, in which case you need to see your health care provider. Yellowish discharge can be due to slight show which occurs as the membranes get separated or when there is some infection. If there is any leakage of liquor, you should seek immediate help. Hope this helps.
