Is Physical Exertion Safe While Suffering From Hernia?
Hi, i am planning on tree planting but I have a small hernia (docs before said they can t fix it because it is too small) so, I am wondering if it would be okay to go out and do some labor work. all the weight will be on my waste and I ll be bending over. the most weight I will handle is 70 pounds. I am very physically active and most physical exertion doesn t bother it at all.
Hello and welcome to Healthcaremagic.com I have read your query thoroughly.
* Though hernia is small, the bending, weight lifting and labor work will give some stretching and pulling effect over the hernia site. * So just be careful in your positions, sitting with back straight, careful while leaning to do the work.
Wish you fine gardening ahead. Take care.
