Is Pregnancy Possible After Discontinuing Reclipsen?

I am on reclipsen birth control and had to be off for a week due to a procedure I had done. I have been back on for total of 16 days and been told to be safe till I have been back on for a month. I had a condom break and want to know if I need to go get plan B or am I safe? Any help would be great. Thank you

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. When oral contraception is initiated, the first two cycles need additional protection. This is because there is a chance that ovulation may not be inhibited. Since you took a break, this cycle is not protected. If the incident happened during your usual fertile period, you would need additional protection. If this happened during your usual safe period, you need not take any emergency contraception. Please contact your consultant to plan further management. Take care.
