Is Pregnancy Possible After Having Sexual Intercourse And Stopping Birth Control Later?
Hi I have been on birth control for 2 years and stopped taking it in February because I am studying abroad in Spain. Since I've stopped taking it I haven't recieved my period. I had sex in mid-January but had my period since then. I took a pregnancy test about 2 months into the trip, so in April, and it came out negative. Is there any chance I could still be pregnant? Should I worry?
hello please tell on what date u stopped ur birth control pill in February. Did u stop them mid cycle or end of the cycle ideally birth control pills r to be stopped after the last pill is over & next pack is not started otherwise stopping pills mid cycle can alter ur periods
it appears from ur history that you had normal periods in January post that sexual contact ur periods in February r missing post stopping pill
if u had not missed any pill in January & if ur January period was normal flow & u did not have sexual contact after ur january periods then u don't need to worry much, chances of pregnancy r almost nil
upt u said is negative, to be sure u can go for blood test ( bhcg) , value less than 5 indicate not pregnant .ultrasound can also help in dilemma
hope this helps you
