Hi,
Thanks for asking. I can understand your concern.
Yes.. there is possibility of getting bleeding inspite of conception...due to-
-
Implantation bleeding.. which appears near expected date of menses .... it is lesser than normal bleeding & Home
pregnancy test becomes +ve 8 days after expected date of menses.
-Ectopic pregnancyĺ.. here fetus is implanted somewhere else than
uterus.. so at the time of period bleeding with cramps is seen.
--Some placental problems like
placenta previa can cause bleeding in pregnancy.... which must be treated as an alarm & get investigated &start taking care as per gynecologist's advise.
- Some cervical problems like polyp/severe errosion/
pelvic infection can cause bleeding.
- Very rarely few pregnant women keep getting regular menstrual bleeding through out pregnancy.
*Bleeding in pregnancy is never considered to be normal. Pregnancy needs to be confirmed by urine or blood pregnsncy test/usg scanning.
If it is there the cause must be found out &treated accordingly...
Thanks.
