Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Protected Sex?

Hi, I had protected sex with my boyfriend and my period is 5 days late... I got my last period on the 13 of may.. we had protected sex on the 27th of may, 6th and 9th of June. .. Ive been writing exams now as well. can I be pregnant or is it late because of stress?

Hello,
Though you had the intercourse during your fertile days or ovulatory days, presuming that you have regular 28-30 day cycles, since you had protected intercourse, you are relatively safe. Stress can also cause menstrual irregularities by delaying or advancing a period. Please get a HPT with a fresh early morning sample of urine now or go for an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres for a better clarification. You can also see a specialist for a clinical evaluation and a trans-vaginal sonogram for clarification on this issue. Hope this helps.

After protected sex there is a very rare possibility almost like zero for pregnancy and ya because of stress of exam period can get delayed but you should do urine pregnancy test to confirm your pregnancy
