Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) With the history of irregular cycles and unprotected sex, you have rightly taken emergency contraceptive pill within 24 to 72 hours of unprotected sex act.

This will fairly work to prevent pregnancy, if it is there.

3 ) Still I will suggest you to get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy, after 15 to 20 days of the sex act. If it is negative, then you can assume that you are not pregnant.

4 ) Even If you are pregnant, you can opt for termination of the pregnancy with medicines safely till 9 weeks of pregnancy under medical supervision.

5 ) With negative test results, you can simply wait for the onset of periods or induce the periods with progesterone tablets. Your treating doctor can help you with the course and withdrawal bleeding .

I hope this answer helps you. Thanks.
