Is Pregnancy Possible Even After Taking D&C But Didn T Protection?

I had a D&C two weeks ago today because after I delivered my daughter Nov 25th, part of the placenta didn t detach. I had sex a few times in the past week without a condom, but he didn t ejaculate in me. I stopped bleeding two days after the D&C. Is it possible I m pregnant again? As I said, he didn t ejaculate in me, but we didn t use a condom either.

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

If he absolutely did not ejaculate in you, then you cannot be pregnant. If there is even the slightest chance that he partly ejaculated in you, then certainly pregnancy is possible. In the setting of having recently delivered, and especially if you are breast-feeding, you may get no cycle or very irregular cycles. It is important to realize that you can get pregnant, even if you are breast-feeding. The safest thing to do would be to have condoms available.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
