Is Pregnancy Possible Post Depo Shot Withdrawal?

I've took the depo shot about 5 months ago and I didn't go back for the next one I didn't like they way it made my menstrual cycle. So the shot should have cleared from my system so now it's been about 2 months since I stopped taking it because i didn't go back for the next one .... I've recently had unprotected sex and was planning on taking a plan B pill would that effect anything with the pill?

Hello,
Thanks for writing to us. I have gone through your query and understood the concern. The hormone is likely to have cleared from your body and ovulation is likely to return. In this scenario, unprotected intercourse can cause pregnancy. Since you are planning to take the emergency contraceptive pill, please make sure you have it within the stipulated interval to get maximum protection. The pill can cause withdrawal bleeding and a delay in the next natural period owing to its high hormone content. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
