Is Pregnancy Possible Through Intercourse A Day Before The Menstruation Due Date?

Hi. I’m on birth control pill for two years now. Last month I had sex one day before period. Now it’s time when I should be bleeding for two days. I’m not bleeding at all. Can I be pregnant? I must say that I in stress all last month because I’m moving out.

Hi,

Sex one day before date of periods, that too while on contraceptive without a gap, does not have any chance of pregnancy. Psychological stress can delay periods. Please wait for period to come and start new pack of contraceptive from 5th day of menses. In case you have no periods after 15 more days, consult your gynecologist for finding the cause of delay and it's treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
