Is Pregnancy Possible Through Non-penetrative Sexual Activity?
Can sperm pass through clothes?..my boyfriend ejaculated on my nighty on the mons pubis area..i was wearing a nighty which was of cotton and an underwear too with a pad as i was on the 2nd day of my periods. I just want to know as my mons pubis had become little damp is there a chance of pregnancy?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The chance of a pregnancy happening is very low from what you have described for two reasons. One, the ejaculation outside is a method of birth control in itself - the sperm require conducive conditions and body fluids to be able to survive and travel up the vagina, cervix, uterus and tubes where fertilization usually takes place. The second reason is that - you were on the second day of your periods. This is not the fertile part of your cycle. The eggs are released only from the 10th - 20th day of cycle, if your have a regular 28 day cycle.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
