Is Pregnancy Possible Through Unprotected Sex During Menstruation?

sir last mnth on 16 we have unsafe physical relation and 16 was the last date of my wife periods. on 20 she took i pill also...after 2 weeks she had few drops of blood as aperiods comes out. what is that sir??? n is this a symptoms of pregnancy??? pls solve my problem. we r not plan 4 baby yet.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Usually in case of regular 28 to 30 days menstrual cycles ovulation will not occur at around 5th or 6th day of the cycle. So, the possibility of pregnancy is less. If your wife is having irregular periods, especially with short length like around 20 days, we can not completely exclude the possibility of pregnancy. Emergency contraceptive pill should be taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse for better protection.
The spotting she had could be withdrawal bleeding due to emergency contraceptive pill and may get converted into regular blood flow but better to undergo urine pregnancy test once to rule out the possibility of implantation bleeding due to pregnancy.
