Heloo,am Evance my girlfriend is in big trouble ...we had unprotected sex on a sunday around 4 pm and she was on her 5th day of menustration cycle then she says number of days reduced from last cyle to 25 days... She know ask me if she could be pregnant coz..she took Post tor -2 on her 70th hour ....please assist Answer
The periods may change when emergency contraception is taken after unprotected sex. This is in response to the horns that are taken as pills to prevent pregnancy. These pills are effective 95 out of 100 times if taken within 72 hours of having sex, which seems to be the case from what you have outlined.
The fact that sex happened on the 5th day of the cycle is also reassuring because at this stage the eggs are usually in developing stage and not yet released. So the chance of becoming pregnant is low anyway. The good news is that she has had her periods on the 25th day of her normal cycle.
However, if you still want reassurance, then a pregnancy test can be done at home using the first-morning urine sample.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
