Is Pregnancy Possible When IUI Procedure Is Performed About 50 Hours Post HCG Trigger?
Hi Sir/Madam, I was scheduled for iui this cycle. Last menstrual periods on 13th June 2017. Prescribed E-ovaplus 50 for cd2 - cd6. Ultrasound on cd12 showed two follicles at 20mm and 21mm. Had hcg shot (Fertigyn 10000) around 10 am. Ultrasound on cd 13 showed that follicle not yet ruptured. Ultrasound on cd14 at 9am showed ruptured follicles. Iui performed at 12.30 pm same day. Almost 50 hours post hcg trigger. What are the chances of success?
Hi, I think there can be a chance of success. Egg remains viable for 24 hours for getting fertilised. So, if IUI was done the same day, there is a chance of fertilisation. But from next time, ask your doctor to do IUI after 24 hours of trigger. It will increase chance of fertilisation. Hope it helps.
