Dr. My last period date was 29th of Sep to 3rd Oct & from 25th Oct to 27th Oct i Take Primolut N 5 MG to extend my periods n to have sex without precaution. Last sext which i did was on 28th morning & forgot to take last dose on 28th oct, is their any chances to get pregnent by forgetting last dose after un protected sex. Please Advice.
Yes, it is possible to get pregnant with unprotected sex when you are on regular CP but have been missing to take the doses in time everyday. Forgetting to take CP, reduces the efficacy of the pills. You should take Emergency CP, within 72 hours of unprotected sex to avoid pregnancy.
If you miss the periods you should get urine test for pregnancy done or get clinically examined by a gynecologist to manage the case at the earliest. CP protects you against pregnancy not STD. You are suggested to always perform protected sex.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
