Is Prescribed Diphenhydramine, Nystatin, Hydrocortisone, Lidocaine, Glutamine Oral Rinse Right Medicine For White Spots In Inner Cheeks?
Hi, I was given a compounded prescription for DIPHENHYDRAMINE/NYSTATIN/SUCRALFATE/HYDROCORTISNE/LIDOCAINE/GLUTAMINE ORAL RINSE for a minimal white spots on my inner cheeks. The doctor thinks it is a fungal infection or an allergy to something. I am very concerned about the side affects even though it is not to be swallowed. Is there anything I should be concerned with? thank you
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The white spots on the inner cheek can be a frictional keratosis or it can be leukoplkia, there are less chances of it being a fungal infection. Nothing to be panic, consult a good oral physician and get it evaluated. The above said drugs will not cause any adverse effects as such, since it will not be absorbed systemically. If it is a frictional keratosis or leukoplakia, cause has to be removed. I hope I have answered your query, take care.
