Is Presence Of Amorphous Urates A Symptom Of Urinary Tract Infection In Pregnant Woman?
Good day! Im 28 weeks pregnant. I had a urine test today and this is the result. Pus cells-1-2hpf redcells-0-2hpf epithelial-few mucus threads-few urates-many bacteria-none. Can you help me interpret this? Do i have uti? Im curious what amorphous urates are and I dont know why my result is plenty. Thanks.

So the report is not suggestive of UTI. However, amorphous urates suggest you have a tendency for stone formation. Drink plenty of fluids to flush out urates.
