Is Prolonged Bleeding And Discomfort Normal After Taking Extra Desogestrel Pills?

Around 3 months ago, I had intercourse and even though I was protected by the pill - my severe anxiety caused me to overthink and scare myself into thinking I was pregnant or could be. I read online if I had a couple of my Desogestrel pills one day and the same the next it would act as a morning after pill. I know this was silly but I worked myself up into a panic. Since then I have called my GP and they explained I would experience a hormonal imbalance for a couple of months. In the past 2.5 weeks, I have had a bleed that started brown and is now lightening to red and fading out but it has been almost 2.5 weeks and I still have discomfort where I usually would for a normal period. I have been taking my Desogestrel pill regularly since all of this and kept it at the same time so no further disturbances would occur. I am seeing a nurse tomorrow for a pill check but I am still concerned this evening - have you any advise?
