Hi ,
I am having jaundice .at that time i have checked my blood sugar .They tested and said 180 .
after week today i have tested for jaundice and for blood sugar .
Jaundice is 1.4 and sugar when they done manually they are saying 140 - 210 and asked them to check once again ,then they checked with some digital instrument then it is 185.Please tell me which one is correct
Dear sir i can understand your concerns in my opinion both the blood sugars are done at different sample. the conventional small digital meters use finger tip sample and the big instruments called analysers use blood from vessel directly in my opinion the big analysers are accurate. The small digital meters are to do blood sugars in home and they will not give very accurate results and they need to calibrated once in three months and the quality of blood sugar report depends on 1. battery performance 2. moisture in air 3.sample size 4.mixing of sample with sweat on finger so its better to go with well manitained lab analyser only regards
