Is Red Spots In Eyes Dangerous?

My eyes turn red with some spots after being hit by the arms of my friend while we are playing basketball.At first, It was painful and my eyes got blurred but after a few hours it was gone. I can see clearly and the pain was less but still the redness is still there. What would i do with my red eyes? and Does redness will gone?should i be alarm with this?

If the redness is decreasing then take topical antibiotics and it will subside fast but if the redness is not decreasing or it is as it is even after taking the antibiotics better to consult a doctor.
