Is Redness After Being Stung By Bee Normal?
I was stung by something, I think a bee last friday. Following the sting I had a red inflammed area on my leg 3 inches in diameter that was hot to the touch till sunday. The swelling and temp have decreased but now the area looks red, bruised, and like there are hives. Is this normal

Thank you for posting on HCM.
Insect bites are usually pretty easy to treat.
I would suggest you consult a dermatologist, who would suggest you short course of oral antibiotics and analgesics.
Oral corticosteroids may be added as required.Apply a cream containing halobetasol and fusidic acid twice a day over affected areas for atleast 5 days.
Take antihistaminics for itching as required.
