Is Sand Colored, Formed Stools With Little Blood And Mucus In Stools Concerning?

About a week ago, I had very dark loose stool that lasted about three days. Since then, my stools have gotten progressively more formed and lighter. They are now sand-colored and formed. Two days ago, I noticed a little bit of blood in my stool and today I noticed mucus in my stool. I am cramping before I use the restroom as well. Should I worry?

Hi.Thanks for writing on HCM.
Are you having fever along with blood and mucus in stool? If yes then this is due to dysentery and needs to be treated with a course of antibiotics.
If you are not having fever then, I suggest you to meet a gastroenterlogist(conditions like ulcerative colitis/crohn's and few other s have to be ruled out).Hope this helps.
