Hi,I am Dr. Radhakrishna (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Sharp lower abdominal pains For the past couple weeks, I have been getting lower abdominal pains. They are cramp like sharp pains, sometimes shooting down to my groin area. I am not pregnant, and recently went to the doctors, (month ago) had blood drawn and never got a call back stating that anything was wrong. The pains make me feel like I have to urinate, though I don't and I have been a bit more gassy than normal. Is there something wrong with me?
Hi. Obviously there is something wrong with you . It would have been helped me if you have specified the problems more . anyways. You say you have a feeling to urinate with the pains, shooting down to the groin. For me it looks to be more of urinary tract infection may be associated with prolapse of the urinary bladder and uterus. You may have to get yourself examined by the Gynecologist to confirm this finding and may also be by a Urologist .
