Is Skipping A Good Exercise For Women? History Of Adenomyosis
Hello Doctor, Im a 35 Year old mother of 3 kids. I have had 3 c sections with my Children and also I have a medical condition called Adenomyosis . I do regular skipping and told by my friends that skipping is not a good exercise for women who underwent c- section. Is skipping rope a good exercise for a woman like me? is it good to skip when you have periods? Thank you.
Welcome to HCM. after 10to 12 week after C-section you can start exercising. I generally advice my clients to take full fledged aerobics,running, skipping, jogging,cycling, swimming after three months.
Start off at a light to moderate intensity, Perform aerobic exercise for 30 minutes at least three days per week. You can gradually increase as you feel comfortable, resuming your pre-pregnancy exercise program.
Skipping is also a good exercise and It is not harmful generally after C-section.
