i have a hearing loss in left ear since my childhood but my other ear works very fine..i usually have severe ear pain during decents..I am planning to skydive tomorrow..so is it okay or should i not do it? Any medicines that you would suggest me? this is the first time i would be dping sky diving
Hi, thanks for your query. Any pressure changes, ascent or decent causes barotrauma leading t o ear pain. You can do sky diving. Take precautionary measures like ; Take decongestant tablet and nasal drops 2 days before and 2 days after diving to prevent ear pain. Don't be full stomach while diving as u may vomit. Keep chewing bubble gum as it may help you to prevent the ear pain. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
