Is Skydiving Risky While Having Incomplete Posterior Vitreous Detachment?
I have incomplete Posterior Vitreous Detachment. When I was first diagnosed with this, my eye doctor said I should avoid activities like going on roller coasters or kick-boxing. I was wondering going skydiving is risky for someone who has incomplete PVD. Thanks.
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having incomplete posterior vitreous detachment. It is riskier to go for sky diving as it can cause total posterior vitreous detachment and sometimes can result in complications like vitreous hemorrhage or retinal detachment. Hence I advice you to not to go for sky diving or physical exertion.
Thank you
