Is Slight Discharge And Blood A Cause For Concern During Advanced Pregnancy?
I m 38 weeks & 3 days pregnant , since like 3 am I been having a really sharp pain that comes and goes around my pelvic area. I noticed when I wiped that there was some thick discharge with a little blood on it and my baby hasn t moved like he usually does. Should I go to the hospital? On Monday I was only a centimeter dilated.

As you are getting pains and had blood stained mucus discharge(show), better to get examined.
Usually true labor pains:
-Will start at lower abdomen or lower back.
-Gradually increase in severity and frequency.
-Associated symptoms like show can be seen.
So, as you are having some of these symptoms, better to consult gynecologist and get examined.
If there are no cervical changes and pains proved to be false labor pains, rest and hydration can help in decreasing the pains.
