I understand your concerns and will do my best to answer your question.
Some degree of asymmetry in the labia is harmless and common. It doesn't need to be fixed or treated. You could find a plastic surgeon or gyn surgeon to surgically restore symmetry if you wish but that certainly should only be done if it continues to be very bothersome to you. It is not a major surgery: very similar to the repair of tears some women experience during childbirth, it can be done under
local anesthesia, takes just a few minutes and you can go home in an hour or two after needing only ice packs and
Tylenol or
motrin for post-surgical pain. I usually don't recommend any
elective surgery during
pregnancy and, again, it should only be done if it continues to be very disturbing for you.
The itching and burning can be normal, can be a reaction to a soap, detergent or chemical or can be due to a yeast infection: avoid soap or detergents, rinse well after a shower or bath, try an over the counter yeast cream (safe during pregnancy) and let your provider know if it persists.
