ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

She may be having eustachian tube dysfunction due to enlarged adenoid gland. Eustachian tube dysfunction can cause hearing loss. If she is having enlarged adenoid then she may be having recurrent cold, snoring, mouth breathing during sleep. If she is having any of the symptoms then consult an ENT surgeon. It can be wax also. Get ear examined and if needed do a hearing test and impedance audiogram. It will show any hearing loss if present. If there is enlarged adenoids then you need to start Mometasone or Fluticasone spray.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
