Is smoking Marijuana advisable while treating typhoid? sir I have been smoking weed since years. recently typhoid was detected by a widal test. its been 3 days since iam taking the vaccine. still 2 more days to go. in between can I smoke a little marijuana(weed ...
It is unlikely to have an effect. Obviously smoking marijuana does not majorly affect the immune system or we would be having a lot of very sick people. Marijuana slightly increases heart rate, in about 1/6th of those smoking it for the first time there can be lung irritation of a significant extent and in another 1/6th there can be psychological harm (generally temporary). Even the serious side effects are not going to affect the vaccine.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
It just isn't likely to interact with the treatment nor the disease. There is a one in six risks of lung irritation but if you haven't had it before that is unlikely. There is also a small risk of psychological disturbance that can happen but shouldn't interfere with treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
