Is Smoking And Drinking Advisable To A Heart Attack Survivor?
Hi my husband has one kidney and 6months ago he had a massive heart attack. This lead him to have an angiogram .during this procedure ha had another heart attack and suffered pulmonary oedema. He had a stent put in. Is it safe for him to smoke and drink whiskey. He is 62years
After going through the medical details provided by you I would like to tell you that it's not at all a good thing to continue smoking and drinking after having a major heart attack and stenting.
If he doesn't stop smoking his stent can be blocked anytime causing another heart attack.
So better avoid it
I wish him good health
