Is Smoking Marijuana Doubly Interactive With Self In A Patient Of Personality Disorder?
I have 36yr old son, w/a severe personality disorder, he has always lived off of weak women, never worked, and expects his family to take care of him and hsi children. As a mother what can I do to get help for him. He also has a marijuana addiction, is totally addicted, personality changes, and all, when not smoking.
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. Long term marijuana use can lead to amotivational syndrome. First step would be to discontinue the cannabis. If he agrees then he can be taken to a psychiatrist who can guide him in proper treatment of cannabis de-addiction. Only after stopping cannabis can be actual personality be assessed. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
