Is Smoking Recommendable With Mouth Stitch?

I was wondering if you can smoke with stitches in your mouth?
because I don't want to get an infection or anything. I got my wisdom teeth removed five days ago and I still have stitches in my mouth and I was wondering if anything bad would happen if I smoke?

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, it is better to avoid smoking till you get your sutures removed. usually smoking is avoided for 3-5days after extraction, if you smoke in these days it creates negative pressure and induces bleeding and wound wont heal. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
