Is Sore Throat With Fever And Swollen Lymph Node Symptom Of Herpes?
had unprotected sex, woke up about 2 days later with a sore throat. later that day developed chills which later turned into a fever. fever lasted less than 1 day. sore throat continued and lymph nodes in neck have been very swollen. its about a week in and lymph nodes are still a little swollen and a minor sore throat. what are the possibilities this is herpes?

Chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes may present like this which may transfer through sexually. Use salt water gargling and water vapor inhalation. Send throat swab for culture and microscopy. Use tablet augmentin twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
