Is Spotting Mid-cycle Normal After Stopping Novelon Taken For Ovarian Cysts?

Hi . I am 19 year old . From last 6 months I was suffering form ovarian cyst . I had cyst in my right ovary and my menstrual cycle was repeating every 15 days . Then I consulted a gynecologist she prescribed me novelon tablet for 3 month and the cysts got dissolved then she stopped the medication . But the problem is even though the ovary cyst got disappeared, I saw some red spotting the very next 15th day of my period cycle (13th my period date - spotting again on 27th ) when I stopped novelon . So is it normal to have spotting after stopping novelon tablet or should I wait for my menstrual cycle Date or again consult a gynecologist? Please help me .
