Is Spraying Chemicals For Pest Control Harmful For Baby During Pregnancy?
Dear Doctor, 2 days ago we found three tiny bed bugs in out mattress, for the last 2 weeks they ve been biting my legs therefore I decided to check the bed. We have a new carpet fitted as well as a new mattress. We have no idea where they came from. Also I found one bigger bug in the mattress protector. We ve arranged for the PEST control to come and spray the whole house. I m really concerned as we are expecting a baby (28 weeks pregnant). Can spraying harm it? PEST control said it won t affect my baby but I just need to make sure it s safe. Many thanks

Hi,pest control spraying can be done.You will have to stay out of house for 5 hrs after spraying and even while spraying.wash all the linen.hope yoir doubts are cleared.No problem for your baby ,regards,Dr.Arockia
