Is Stabbing Pain In Left Shoulder A Sign Of Heart Disease?

Hi there. Had some intense should pain feels a bit like stabbing in my left shoulder. Heart disease runs in my family I am 49, healthy active athlete all my life, but it came suddenly. I do have severe arthritis in my spine, maybe its moving a bit of neck pain, no chest pain at all. I often worry about heart because of my family lines. Heart rate is normal. Thanks L.A.

your worry is genuine and your concern appropriate, but if you are so vigilant why don't you consult a cardiologist and get yourself screened first.
