Is Stalevo Prescribed For Parkinson's In Order To Control Tremors?
I am parkinson patient for the last five years. Over the years I have been taking various does of stalevo 100 which have been controlling my tremors fairly well.Since a few weeks, however, whenever I take a stalevo tablet at even at the scheduled time and quantity, it triggers up intense tremors which take considerable time to subside. What can be the possible reason.

By your description i feel that you had been stable,with no tremors when on stalevo.But you are getting the tremors since few weeks,this might be due to any kind of new addition of medicines like Iron vitamins,antidepressant, antihypertensives,certain antibiotics(erythromycin,ampicillin),anthistamines or so.These medicines causes decrease effectiveness of stalevo.
If you did not take any new medication recently,you might just need a dose adjustment.For any of the above reasons you should visit your doctor.
