I would say that when the blood pressure it's more than 140:90 , should consider
high blood pressure and need to take care especially after having it for a long time , cause will effect the heart and blood vessels .
Stamlo (
amlodipine ) is a good drug cause will help all the blood vessel to relax and if the blood pressure is high , the small vessels in
retina during operation and may be affected and damaged .
The thing is that amlodipine can cause low blood pressure and fast heart data (
tachycardia more than 100 heart beat / minute ).
So measure your grandmother blood pressure , heart beat every day , also if she has swollen legs .If she has call the doctor he will low the dosage to 5mg once a day , or change the medication according to the side effect.Also should check the
cholesterol level , heart and kidney condition.
